Michigan-Based Residential Home Health Expands to Serve Home Care Patients in Greater Chicago

Madison Heights, Mich. (August 3, 2009) Residential Home Health, a nationally recognized provider of home care services headquartered in Madison Heights, Mich., has announced the acquisition of Edward Home Care from Edward Hospital in Naperville, Ill. Edward Home Care has provided home care services to patients in the southwest suburbs of Chicago for the last 14 years. Edward Hospital will retain a minority stake in the Illinois operations of Residential Home Health.

All Edward Home Care employees will be hired by Residential Home Health, which will maintain an office at Edward Hospital to assist in the coordination of care for current and future home care patients. As part of the expansion, Residential Home Health plans to increase its employee base by 100 professionals and support staff in the coming year across the Greater Chicago and Michigan markets.
